Representative museum building of so called Rožmberk house Nr. 248 forms corner of the square next to the town hall. JUDr Otakar Kudrna (1853–1940) has donated this well-preserved renaissance house with arcade together with extensive ethnographical collections to the Netolice museum foundation. In the 50´s the museum was nationalized, today it belongs to the town of Netolice and bears its original name again. New information center is open on the right side in the entrance of the house.

The exhibit in mezzanine and on the first floor of the house is dedicated to the history of material culture of the town and region with examples of archaeological and geological finds. Among others the museum is well known for its unique collection of period postcards counting about 160 000 examples and for the largest collection of embroideries from the Blata region. In 1997 a new ethnographic exhibition has been opened in the newly reconstructed building introducing collections of folk furniture, costumes, embroideries, agricultural implements as well as examples of glass, china and tin dishes used in civic households. In the room dedicated to weapons you can view examples of work of local gunsmith masters. Most of folk culture exhibits from the region on the boundary of Doudlebsko, Prácheňsko and Blata including the reconstruction of the former interior of a folk room are dated to the half of 19th century. Also an exhibition dedicated to the Premyslide fortified settlement, to the emerging archaeological park and to early medieval period is currently being prepared in the medieval vault.

Art exhibits and other cultural and social actions take place occasionally in the exhibition rooms. Visitors will be interested by the vaulted entrance with historical shields and lanterns or by gradually forming lapidary in the courtyard of the building. The museum provides services to scholars and takes part on promotion of thematic exhibits in the Czech Republic by loans from its abundant depository.
